The day 1B of the European Poker Tour has seen an increase in the number of participants, with a total of 115 players taking part in the competitions, even though there were only 84 left at the end of the day. Those 84 players together with the 64 who managed to finish the day 1A make a total of 152 players ready to start the day 2.
This registered increase in the number of players during day 1B has helped to increase the amount of money that will receive the tournament champion, which will be now €358.654, which is not bad at all.
The chip leader during this day was without any doubt the French Antony Lellouche, who managed to reunite 131.475. However, he is still behind the previous day chip leader, as Carter Phillips had previously managed to put together 194.850 chips.
This type of tournaments serve to prove that poker has become really popular in the last period, which explains also why every day there are more and more people taking part in the many online tournaments available at the best online poker rooms.
